I moved again. This time to Lisbon. And even after many relocations, it still stirs up questions: where do I belong? How do I stay close to home while being far away?

This is the heart of the work I do - with clients navigating distance, transitions, and disconnection. We don’t rush past it. We stay with it.

Our hearts close when we overthink love. We disconnect from the present moment, cataloging faults instead of experiencing connection.

The mind creates a wishlist.

The heart simply witnesses what is.

This week, I invite you to notice: When do you shift from experiencing love to analyzing it? What happens in your body when you make this shift? Can you feel the subtle tightening, the withdrawal of presence?

Try this: The next time you're with someone you care about, take one conscious breath and silently say, "The heart does not overthink." Notice what shifts when you return to direct experience rather than mental evaluation.

Love is not a problem to solve or a project to perfect.

Love is a presence to embody.

We start small with the everyday experiences to which we close our hearts, maybe when we are annoyed, irritated, offended etc. We start by observing when that happens. No need to change our behavior now. It’s enough to note those occurrences during your day

The unhappy place is the spot in our home we often spend time in when feeling down. For many people it a lazy chair. With time, our mind will eventually trigger negative thoughts whenever we sit in the lazy chair. Changing our physical position, for example to a different room, can help us come out of the unhappy state.

Since our childhood we are taught to compare ourselves to others: Why can’t you be as smart as ### or bla bla. And comparing becomes our norm ☹️ when instead what we need is to be ourselves. That’s how we can be original. So let go of the stress of trying to be like anyone else. You are more than enough 😊
