Hydration, a key component to staying alive. Water, the element of time keeping holds the ancient records of time itself. Keeping fluid, mind body spirit to be more in the flow.
For our skin to feel hydrated and our organs & colon to work properly then enough water needs to satiate the needs of all the tiny cells and electric function of the body first. It always works from the meniscal to the dense.
I’m understanding more and more about generational dehydration through my own exploration of hydrating with ample living water. It's been a game changer.
Plain water comes alive when it’s infused with something living otherwise it just goes through. I’ve experienced drinking lots of water and then peeing it out, and then not drinking enough as it becomes a nuisance doing so many toilet visits.
Not with living water. Drink 4 litres and do the most minimal toilet runs? That’s how we know it’s going deeper into the instastitial cells, soaking in by the hardened debris, rehydrating the dried areas and allowing the skin to be plumped up from the inside out.
Lemon and ginger juice with honey (or raisons) in a large 1 litre glass on waking up, is the best morning routine you could adjust to.
The liver thrives on glucose elements and the function of the ginger works synergistically to kill pathogens. Whilst the lemon hydrates, alkalizes, flushes and emulsifies mucus. This is the elixir to life, its so simple. I’ve been repeating this throughout the day and feel so much more connected to the signals for what creates thirst.
Infuse water with fresh or dried herbs, leaving overnight or in the sun. You get the medicinal benefits and it’s magically transformed into living water. This counts. Or putting sliced fruit or veggies work.
Boiled water doesn’t hydrate, so teas don’t count :(
Cooking food dehydrates but fresh fruit and veggies count. Juices & coconuts do too!
Join me on a hydration challenge and see how it plays out for you. Even if it’s just adding the extra-large lemon honey ginger water to start the day...
Or continue by following up with a juice, then a smoothie, more fresh fruits and veggies...step by step towards proper hydration.
