Today we celebrate the international youth day!

With Matakita, we offers free eye tests and low-cost glasses designed to protect from UV rays and treat presbyopia. Supported by an ecosystem of committed schools and businesses, the Youth are becoming increasingly professional, at the same time taking on an active role in improving local living conditions.

On Friday, August 7th 2020 Dian, Eka, Syakur, and Toy did advocacy in Kampung Sawah, a slum area in Jakarta. We did free optical test and we sold 5 glasses. We enjoy doing the advocacy. It's a great experience for us!

And on Saturday, August 8th 2020, we also have celebrate the graduation of Una, Nurul, and Toy in autonomy step and Dian in responsibility step with Matakita Team!

We are hiring so if you are between 17-24 and motivated to learn and to improve your life, come meet us!

On Wednesday 15 January 2020, we did a company visit in our partner Servier Jakarta.

We got a lot of knowledge about medicine, and about the organization of departments in an international company.

this company visit is valuable for us because it helps us in the organization of the departments of our micro-economic activities...

[Matakita, Cilincing - Jakarta]

On the 14th of September, in South Jarkata, three Youths from the Matakita team went to the "Forum des associations".

"The customers were mainly foreigners. We were afraid of talking in English but quickly we became confident.
It was very great because we sold 5 glasses (4 sunglasses and 1 reading glasses) and 4 glasses cases.

We are very happy about the event and we hope to have some more in the future".

[Source Of Life team, Advocacy session at Al-Aminiah school - Jakarta]

"During this intervention, our goal was to talk about clean water and its benefits to our bodies. 💧

We first played a little drama with puppets about dirty eating and drinking, and we provided solutions.

Second, we invited children to draw and we gave a prize for the best one! They were all happy. 😊

Finally, we reminded the importance of clean water and we took pictures together.

We were very proud because all the children were glad and our event ran smoothly."

Did you know? On August 2nd 2019 Source Of Life Team and Matakita Team did a company visit to Pt. Mane Indonesia, Kawasan MM2100 Cibitung. It was a great experience. There we discovered what they are doing.
First we had an explanation from Ms. Emma about the history of Mane Company, what they are doing and what they are producing. From this, we know better about flavour and fragrance. And then we split into two groups to go to the stockroom and laboratorium. There we try to apply the flavour and fragrance in cookies.

We listened to a presentation from Ms. Helena about super powers. After that we listened to the presentation of Ms. Hayu on how to do a good interview. Furthermore, the presentation from LP4Y was represented by Sahrul and Masdi.

Do you know guys? On June 26th Matakita & Source Of Life Team did a company visit in Schlumberger. It was a great experience. There we discovered what they are doing and learned more about HSE.

First, we had an explanation from Mr. Adibar about safety rules that we should follow if we would like to discover CIB Schlumberger. And then we made two groups to go around to discover the material that Schlumberger use to supply and serve the partners.
Secondly, we had a presentation from Ibu Ananta about the company’s values.

On June 29th we organized the Vision Screening Event in Futsal Kampung Sawah with PT. Essilor Indonesia. We gave free optical test and also we sold affordable glasses to the communities. It was a very successful event because we sold 26 pairs of glasses and 115 people received free optical test!
