Beyond clinical excellence, the hospital plays a vital role in developing healthcare professionals through rigorous, practice-based training programs that foster innovation and knowledge.

The Critical Care Unit focuses on emergency and critical care training. Its workshops emphasize real-world skills, including ventilator management using devices like the Nihon Kohden NKV-550 ventilator.

These programs equip participants to deliver safer, more effective care, strengthening critical care standards across the healthcare system.

idsMED Thailand partnered with GE HealthCare inviting participants across five provinces in the 10th Healthcare Sector, hosting a focused educational program for OB/GYN specialists on March 30, 2026, at Centara Ubon Hotel. The event highlighted key advancements in maternal-fetal ultrasound, including 3D/4D imaging, AI integration, fetal echocardiography, and e4D technology.

Developed in close collaboration with KOLs to develop interesting topics, the initiative enabled physicians to receive institutional support for travel and accommodation. The program also aimed to spark interest in premium ultrasound systems.

Led by distinguished speakers and opened by Dr. Piyawadee Wutthikonsammakit, the event welcomed 23 OB/GYN doctors. Participants engaged in a full-day program combining expert lectures with hands-on training.

On 26–27 March 2026, idsMED Thailand participated as the main sponsor of the 4th Northeast MFM Forum in Khon Kaen, welcoming over 200 obstetrics and gynecology professionals from across Northeastern Thailand.

As a key region for healthcare development, the forum served as an academic platform for maternal and fetal medicine, focusing on high-risk pregnancy care. Sessions covered topics such as preterm birth, fetal demise, fetal echocardiography, and neonatal anemia, alongside expert discussions and multidisciplinary exchanges.

The event also enabled idsMED Thailand to connect with existing users and potential customers, showcase ultrasound solutions, and gather market insights. It further marked the introduction of Ms. Sitthinee Kanking as SCA Lead for the Women’s Healthcare team.

On 14–15 March 2026, idsMED Philippines, in collaboration with BEBIG, showcased radiotherapy innovations at the Philippine Radiation Oncology Society (PROS) 2026 Annual Convention at Seda Manila Bay, Parañaque City

Under the theme “Global Expertise, Local Excellence,” the event gathered oncology professionals, medical physicists, and industry experts to explore advances in radiation therapy. idsMED Philippines exhibited brachytherapy and radiotherapy solutions from LAP, PTW, and BEBIG.

Scientific sessions covered key oncology subspecialties, highlighting emerging techniques such as dose escalation, stereotactic treatments, organ-sparing approaches, and multidisciplinary case reviews.

Through this participation, idsMED Philippines reinforces its commitment to expanding access to innovative technologies, while its collaboration with BEBIG supports stronger radiotherapy capabilities and improved cancer care in the Philippines.

On March 30, 2026, idsMED Vietnam delivered and installed three SIUI Apogee 5300 Elite ultrasound systems for the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Bệnh viện Bình Dân

Designed to enhance workflow efficiency, the system features a 23-inch adjustable monitor, a 13.3-inch touchscreen, up to four probe ports, and a backup battery to ensure continuous operation.

Equipped with specialised OB/GYN packages, including advanced 4D imaging modes like 4D Pro and Lumi 4D Lite, the systems support accurate diagnosis and pregnancy monitoring.

These additions are expected to improve efficiency, elevate patient experience, and enhance overall care quality. idsMED Vietnam remains committed to advancing healthcare through innovative medical technologies.

On 25 March 2026 at Suan Dusit University's Suphan Buri Campus, Dr. Preecha Prempree opened the Cardiac Network Forum 2026, themed “Future Heart for a Future World.” He stressed that cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death, with five Thais dying hourly, and warned of rising cases as the population ages. Despite advances in AI and medical innovation, access, cost-effectiveness, and timely care remain key challenges.

Held from 24–27 March, the forum gathered about 500 healthcare leaders to share knowledge, explore new technologies, and strengthen collaboration in cardiac care.

idsMED Thailand engaged stakeholders and explored AI-enabled portable ultrasound solutions to expand early screening, especially in community hospitals, while showcasing innovations and fostering professional exchange at the exhibition.

Driven by its commitment to care and belief that every life matters, idsMED Philippines supported the Aeta community through Together in Care: One HEART for the Aeta Community in Sitio Katipunan, Tarlac. Throughout February, employees donated cash, clothing, blankets, and groceries. On 28 February 2026, 37 volunteers travelled from Manila to assist in distribution and a feeding initiative.

In partnership with the Aeta Ako, Pilipino Ako Foundation (Aeta Ako), the outreach reached 125 families, nearly 350 individuals from Sitio Katipunan and Sitio Bunga, underserved areas with limited access to resources.

Volunteers organized supplies, prepared meals, and distributed goods, while engaging with the community. The initiative concluded with a shared group photo, reflecting idsMED Philippines’ ongoing commitment to compassionate, collaborative community support.

March 2026 marks a major milestone for robotic surgery in Sumatra with the installation of the Edge® MP1000 system at Murni Teguh Hospitals, Medan. This follows a 2025 roadshow and specialised overseas training for eight surgeons, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to advancing minimally invasive care.

Installation took place on 1–2 March, followed by hands-on training for surgeons and supporting teams. Shortly after, four successful robotic-assisted procedures were performed, demonstrating the system’s clinical readiness and benefits, including greater precision and faster recovery.

The milestone was celebrated at a Grand Launching on 10 March 2026. As the first hospital in western Indonesia to adopt this technology, Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital brings advanced surgical care closer to patients in the region.
