On 5–6 December, idsMED Vietnam, in partnership with SIUI, conducted an advanced training program on the operation and optimal use of the Apogee 6200 ultrasound system for the medical team at Hat Mon Medical Centre in Hanoi.

The session was led by a Clinical Application Specialist from SIUI and focused on key features that enhance diagnostic quality in obstetrics and gynaecology, including:
- Advanced diagnostic solutions supported by state-of-the-art software
- “Keep It the Same” technology, which allows flexible light-source adjustment and real-time rendering of lifelike foetal images
- System enhancements designed to improve clinical efficiency

Through this training, the Hat Mon Medical Centre team gained practical skills to maximise the system’s capabilities, supporting improved diagnostic accuracy, streamlined workflows, and enhanced maternal care.

On 12 December 2025, idsMED Vietnam, in collaboration with the Medical Simulation Training Unit of the National Children’s Hospital, organised a Training Program and User Guidance Session on medical simulation models for doctors at the hospital. The initiative aimed to enhance hands-on training quality and support the ongoing development of clinical skills among medical professionals.

The program provided an overview and practical, hands-on training using pediatric and neonatal emergency and resuscitation simulation models from Laerdal Medical AS, a global leader in medical simulation education.

Through this initiative, idsMED Vietnam reaffirmed its commitment to supporting medical education, strengthening clinical competencies, and contributing to improved pediatric healthcare outcomes.

Southern Thailand is recovering from one of its most severe floods in recent years. Following intense rainfall from November 19-25, 2025, large parts of the Hat Yai district were submerged, leaving communities without electricity, mobile signals, and access to food.

The conditions heightened the risks of skin infections, wound complications, and inflammation caused by contaminated water and high humidity. Eight field hospitals and mobile medical units were deployed to address urgent needs, from wound care to infection prevention.

In response, idsMED Thailand mobilised support by donating 5,158 surgical gowns, along with adult cannulas and oxygen masks, to Songkhla Hospital for distribution across eight field hospitals in six southern provinces. The handover took place on December 2, 2025 received by Hospital Director Dr. Ratanapol Lorprasertkul.

As recovery continues, the collaboration between healthcare teams, volunteers, and partners highlights the vital role of unity and professional teamwork in restoring health, resilience, and hope. Our FSS and BME teams in the South have also been actively visiting affected hospitals to assess the damage to equipment.

We extend our sincere wishes for a steady recovery and renewed strength to all those affected.

Held from 25 - 30 November 2025 at Hotel Morazen, Surabaya, the Indonesian Association of Emergency Medicine (PERDAMSI) 2025 returned with the concept of Emergency Medicine 5.0. Carrying the theme “Care in Crisis,” the event emphasised the importance of preparedness among medical professionals in responding to emergencies.

idsMED demonstrated strong support by participating in multiple workshops and hosting an exhibition booth. The team contributed to sessions such as Basic Airway Management, Red Battle, and TOT BEC across four days, while the weekend exhibition featured continuous product demonstrations and discussions. At the booth, attendees explored a range of medical technologies, including Laerdal and Zenmed manikins, Hamilton ventilators, GE patient monitors, Christie Vein Viewer, Hospi video laryngoscopes, Zenmed vein viewers, and consumables from Vygon, Laerdal, and ICU Medical.

With around 500 attendees, including emergency specialists, general practitioners, and nurses, the event reflected a strong commitment among healthcare professionals to advancing emergency care expertise.

To help healthcare professionals fully utilise the advanced features of Linet beds to enhance patient care and safety, idsMED Vietnam, in collaboration with Linet and Bach Mai Hospital, held a workshop titled “Linet Care Connect – Connecting Patient Care” on November 21 at the Bach Mai Hospital Auditorium.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Tung, Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital, expressed appreciation to idsMED Vietnam and Linet. He noted that the products and solutions provided over the years have significantly supported treatment, patient care, and professional training across the hospital’s clinical departments, complemented by ongoing education and technology transfer initiatives.

From 19 - 21 November 2025, the Indonesian Society of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Therapy (PERDATIN) held Artnesthesia 2025: Fusion of Art and Science in Anaesthesia and Critical Care at the Marriott Hotel & Resort, Lampung.

idsMED Indonesia participated through an exhibition booth showcasing key medical technologies, including the Etesia Anaesthesia Machine, Hamilton C6, Zenmed Vein Viewer, Tofscan, Algiscan, Neurolight, video laryngoscopes, CVC and airway management solutions, CADD, and a range of medical consumables.

Led by Mr. Alexandr Sirin, Director of Clinical Application at Linet, the session provided practical and updated knowledge for the care of critically ill patients. Key topics included: Positioning Techniques in Intensive and Neuro-Critical Care, Early Mobilisation Protocols, and Pressure Injury Prevention.

From 11 - 14 November 2025, the Indonesian Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association held its 23rd National Congress alongside the 45th Annual Meeting of the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association (AOA). Hosted at the Raffles Hotel in Jakarta, the event brought together experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from across the region.

idsMED participated by showcasing a selection of advanced medical technologies at its exhibition booth. Highlights included the LivaNova ATS Xtra, Baxter’s Allen Advance Table, the KCI VAC Ulta NPWT system, and early introductions to robotic solutions for orthopaedic procedures.

With more than 1,000 orthopaedic professionals in attendance, the idsMED booth saw strong engagement. Key solutions, such as the Allen Advance Table for spinal surgery and robotic systems for hip and knee procedures, were among the most visited.
