As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts, idsMED organised the Give Back Campaign to support healthcare facilities and frontline medical personnel. Through this initiative, hospitals received donations of medical supplies from idsMED’s inventory that are approaching expiration but remain within their valid usage period.

The donations were delivered to several hospitals: Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Rimau (12 February), Hospital UMRA (13 February), Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya - Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (2 March), and Hospital Shah Alam (3 March).

This initiative helps ensure that usable medical resources continue to benefit patient care. It also reflects idsMED’s commitment to supporting healthcare professionals by promoting clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control, while strengthening long-term partnerships with healthcare institutions and contributing to a more resilient healthcare ecosystem.

Waron Hospital Surabaya has become the first hospital in Indonesia to install the Edge MP1000 Multi-port Endoscopic Robotic Surgical System, marking a major step forward in robotic-assisted surgery nationwide. Introduced by idsMED Indonesia in mid-2025, the platform aligns with the hospital’s vision to deliver precision-driven, minimally invasive, and patient-centred care.

Unveiled during the hospital’s Grand Opening on 19 December 2025, the system drew attention from key stakeholders, including representatives of the Ministry of Health. The first robotic-assisted surgery was successfully performed on 1 February 2026, following structured overseas training and certification for seven surgeons.

Completed installation in February 2026 formalised Waron Hospital’s pioneering status and reflected close collaboration across clinical, technical, and operational teams, reinforcing idsMED’s role in advancing sustainable surgical innovation in Indonesia.

Carrying the theme “Beyond the Image: Precision Diagnostics, Treatment, and Intervention Redefined,” the event highlighted the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging and technology integration.

Throughout the convention, attendees explored scientific sessions on advanced and cardiovascular imaging, artificial intelligence, and workflow optimisation.

At the exhibition, the team showcased GE HealthCare’s LOGIQ TOTUS ultrasound system, Guerbet’s Xenetix and Dotarem contrast media, and InnoQ consumables. On 11 January and 6–7 February 2026, idsMED Philippines participated in key regional events in Western Visayas, showcasing its surgical solutions and robotics portfolio. These included the ORNAP 14th Annual Regional Convention in Iloilo City and the PALES Midyear Convention 2026 in Bacolod City.

At ORNAP’s 14th Annual Regional Convention and Scientific Meeting was held under the theme, “Celebrating Commitment and Collaboration: Forging a Cohesive and Exemplary Perioperative Nursing Practice.” idsMED presented general consumables from Ansell, InnoQ (InnoQ Philippines - Innovative & Quality Medical Consumables), and Sandel. During the PALES convention, focused on advancing minimally invasive surgery, the team also highlighted surgical robotics solutions from Edge Medical alongside core consumables.
