The death has occurred of Rosie Woods (née Byrne) Coventry, England and formerly of Drumgoolestown, Stabannon, County Louth. Rosie passed away peacefully on Sunday, 8th of February 2026. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Bridget and brother Pat.

Rosie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Robert, daughter Laura and sons Steven, Paul and George, son-in-law Ryan and daughters-in-law Sarah, Kelly and Emma, brothers Tommy and Harry, adored grandchildren and great-grandson, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends in England, Stabannon and Donegal.

Rosie’s funeral will take place in Coventry on Thursday, the 5th of March 2026.

The death has occurred of Jim Kelly, Shalom, Townspark, Ardee, and late of Mill Street, Dundalk.
Peacefully at his residence, in his 83rd year, surrounded by his loving family.
Jim, beloved husband of Kathleen (née Farrell) and loving father of Grace, Nuala O’Donoghue, Kate Watters, and Jamie. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Ellen, and his brother Peter.

Jim will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, sons in law Gary and Mick, grandchildren Colin, David, Kellie, Holly, Shane, Alfie, Molly, Rosie, Michael, Quade, Jay, Lucy, Sadie and great granddaughter Alex, brother Micheal, sisters Briege McAllister, Nuala Mulholland, and Mary Flanagan, sister in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

May Jim Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence (A92 R284) on Monday, 9th February, from 2pm to 7pm.

House strictly private at all other times.

Removal on Tuesday morning, at 9:20am on foot to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Dowdallshill, Dundalk (A91 F598). The Funeral Mass can be viewed online on the link below.

The death has occurred peacefully of Patrick Joseph ‘Joe’ Commins, Pepperstown, Ardee, Co. Louth at Louth County Hospital on Sunday, 21st December 2025.

Joe, predeceased by his son Joseph, parents Elizabeth and Thomas, sisters Bridget and Ita.

Joe will be forever missed by his beloved wife Josephine (née Madden), adored children Darren, Adèle Kearney and Carl, his cherished grandchildren Patrick, Michael, Sophie, Conall and Diarmuid. Sadly missed by his brother Nicholas, sisters Mary Finnegan and Kathleen Muckian, daughters-in-law Nicola and Lisa, son-in-law Daithí, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace

Joe will repose at his home (A92 N7Y2) on Monday 22nd December from 4pm until 7pm and on Tuesday 23rd December from 3pm until 6pm. Removal on Wednesday 24th (Christmas Eve) morning to the church of St Peter and St Paul, Tallanstown (A91 AY60), arriving for funeral mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Knockbridge Cemetery (A91 EV56).

House strictly private outside reposing times.
