Today I celebrate being sober for 4 years!!
I'm not quite sure how it has been 4 years, but it has!!
I hope this message can find someone who needs to hear it tonight.
I have been at absolute rock bottom and could not see any light at the end of the tunnel, but bit by bit, a day at a time, I started to get there.
It has not always been easy but my God it is so worth it.
If you or someone you know is struggling right now, reach out and ask for help. It is the bravest thing you can do.
I would never have believed 4 years ago how much my life could change but making the decision to stop using alcohol to numb my pain and to start the journey to healing.
If I can do it, anyone can.
