Come and get cosy in our studio this December.✨

This month you’re invited to slow down, soften, and reconnect — with your breath, your body, and your own inner quiet.

At Dragonfly Yoga Studio, we’ve created a gentle month of practices and events to help you step out of the busy-ness of the season and into a space of rest, presence, and nourishment.

Alongside our weekly classes, we’re offering two special events to support you through the darkest, softest days of the year:

🕯️ Solstice Soundbath with JG
Sunday 21 December · 4–5.30pm
A soothing sound journey to honour the longest night and welcome the slow return of the light.

End your year softly with a balm of quiet calm.

Our next mini-retreat has just gone on sale. Treat yourself or someone you love to some slow time.

As the year draws to a close, you’re invited to slow your pace, step back from the noise, and slip gently into the quiet.

In Celtic tradition, this liminal time was seen as sacred: a moment to reflect, to soften, and to close the circle of the year with care.

This candlelit mini retreat offers a sanctuary of stillness and rest. A chance for you to soften, to step back from the noise of the world, and to listen inward.

With a calming blend of Yin, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and poetry, Abaigéal will guide you inward toward spaciousness, ease, and gentle reflection.

Come take refuge in the quiet.
Let your breath slow.
Let this be your soft ending —
your exhale,
your closing of the circle,

As the Celtic year turns at Samhain, we cross the threshold into Geimhreadh, Winter, a season of rest, reflection, and quiet renewal.

In this gentle candlelit retreat, you’re invited to tread softly into the dark: to slow the breath, soften the body, and listen inward.

The evening weaves together Yin, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, held in stillness and candlelight. Between moments of rest, Abaigéal will share poetry, written in honour of the season — words to hold the heart through the darker months.

Suitable from beginners to those with a regular yoga practice. You will move through breath practices to calm and soothe your body and mind. You will leave this class feeling grounded and calm, ready for the week ahead. Link in bio.

7.30pm - Vinyasa Flow with Dixie (starts 4 Nov)

Flow with Dixie through an energizing and dynamic 1-hour Vinyasa class designed to build strength, flexibility, and a sense of calm. Book directly with Dixie.


WEDNESDAYS

10am - Gentle Hatha with Áine (starts 5 Nov)

A perfect midweek treat for the senses. Expect a slow class, with long holds and lots of props and variation to help you soften your edges.

10am - Mum & Baby Yoga with Abaigéal (starts 13 Nov)

Make time for you and your baby with this special four week course. Meet other mums and gently move and strengthen your body post-partum.

7.30pm - Tai Chi and Qigong with Tracey (starts 6 Nov)

Tai chi is a type of martial art that originated in China it involves a series of slow, gentle movements and postures, combined with deep breathing and meditation. Tracey's sessions are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. You need to book directly with Tracey by contacting her on 087 410 0052.

As we move deeper into the quiet season, this Sound Bath offers a peaceful space to pause, rest, and gently reflect.

Guided by JG Murphy, the evening will weave soothing sounds and vibrations to help settle the body and calm the mind.

Taking place on All Souls Day, this gathering offers a moment to honour the threads of connection — to those who came before us, to those we love, and to the stillness within. Inspired by Celtic traditions, we recognise this time of year as a turning inward, a softening before winter’s dark descent.

You are invited to simply rest, listen, and be held by sound — a quiet evening to restore and reconnect.
