The OutHouse Kelli O’Halloran graduated from the University of Westminster, London with an honours degree in Herbal Medicine.

Kelli O'Halloran practices Herbal Medicine at The Outhouse, her clinic is nestled into her organic herb and vegetable garden and surrounded by the wild hedgerow pharmacy of the East Cork countryside. She received her clinical training at the University Clinic of Integrated Health and Whipps Cross NHS hospital, London, where western herbal medicine has been integrated for many years. Kelli practices in Midleton and at her clinic The Outhouse, Ballymacoda. She is currently the only qualified, practicing Medical Herbalist serving the East Cork area. She is a member of the Irish Institute of Medical Herbalists (IIMH).

The recent hot summer weather has made for lots more flowers and less leaves on my lovely fennel plants, perfect for a bountiful harvest of seed, just in time for Ballymaloe Garden Fest I think!
Sipping a cup of the tea to help digest my lunch, ease that tummy gas (oooaaps!) and help stave off that sweet craving - perfect!

I'm really looking forward to taking part in the first ever Ballymaloe Garden Festival. Over the weekend I'll be giving a talk, demonstration and workshop about a Healthy Garden and Wild Plant Harvest for your Medicine Cupboard.

Greetings All!

oooOOhhHHH! Finally venturing into Facebook World!! Bare with me, you all know how much I like living in the virtual.

Check out the hedgerow for the last of the flowering meadowsweet, deliciously sweet perfumed creamy flowers and leaves that smell of aspirin when crushed. Save the flowers and leaves to infuse as tea, as a natural anti-inflammatory
