We wanted to take a moment to celebrate all the graduates who received their Universal Design digital badges from The Learning Forum last week!

This incredible achievement includes:
• 363 graduates of Universal Design for Teaching and Learning
• 183 graduates of Universal Design Beyond the Classroom
• 25 graduates who will support the delivery of future programmes

These badges represent the very best of cross-organisational collaboration. The programme brings together AHEAD, UCD ALL, and the National Learning Forum to deliver impactful professional development. It also highlights the power of peer learning, with facilitators and participants nationwide working together to share knowledge, build best practice, and strengthen accessibility across institutions.

Through their participation, graduates have deepened their understanding of Universal Design and strengthened their ability to make everyday practice more inclusive, accessible, and responsive to Ireland’s increasingly diverse student and learner populations.

A sincere thank you to everyone involved in making this programme such a success, with special thanks to the Higher Education Authority and SOLAS for their vital funding and support.

Missed this national rollout? Don’t worry, the next opportunity to take part will launch in September 2026. Watch this space!
