We need to take heed of the stress childbirth has on our bodies. I was lucky to have a good physio who advised me to avoid running until 6 months post-partum. Even now I am going very carefully on a couch to 5k plan to ease back into it. It is never wasted time to take the time to build up core strength 💪

We've both been out of the running scene for a while so we've opted for a gentle re-introduction. We'll have got this by June, will keep you updated x

Please remember that the current restrictions in Ireland only allow exercise within 2km of your resisdence therefore the couch to 5k and 5k plans are ideal!

Hi, we’d like to introduce ourselves and explain a little bit about fizifit.
Rebecca has been running for over 12 years; starting from a fun 5k to get in shape after having three beautiful baby girls to more serious half marathon training with a current pb of 1hr 49 and a 49 min 10k . As well as running Rebecca likes to cycle, row, eat and sleep!
Marcus is an experienced sports coach with a Masters in Applied Sport and Exercise Science. His sporting highlights include rowing a single scull between Jersey and Carteret, a distance of 27k, and a half marathon pb sub 1hr 45! Marcus likes to mostly stay still these days but he does enjoy the odd coastal rowing race and a spot of cycling!
Together they created fizifit to bring affordable science based training plans to busy people, helping them to optimise their training time to get the most out of their running, get fitter, feel better and achieve their goals.
