Our retained firefighters do an incredible job protecting communities across Ireland.

If a firefighter is fit, healthy, and passing their annual medical - and wants to keep serving - we should allow them to do so.

In one station alone, decades of experience is set to be lost over night.

This is particularly concerning given the recruitment struggles the retained fire service has faced for many years.

Today I raised this in the Dáil and called for change.

The native Irish honeybee is under serious threat.

Hybridisation caused by unnecessary importation of non-native bees has increased by almost 300% in six years.

I urged the Government to progress the Protection of the Native Irish Honeybee Bill.

We must act now to protect Ireland's native Irish honey bee.

Government TDs say one thing - Government does the opposite.

Government TDs have told communities it's an emergency & temporary measure. Meanwhile, the Government is preparing legislation to permanently exempt certain IPAS centres from planning.

I asked the Taoiseach directly today - he refused to answer.

Should the exemption continue?

Ireland’s energy crisis did not happen by accident.

It is the direct result of a high energy cost strategy pursued by successive governments.

Carbon tax continues to rise year on year.

The crisis in the Gulf has laid bare the consequences of this approach.

Aontú voted against the Climate Action Bill in 2021 because we warned that this would be the inevitable outcome.

It is time for Government to reverse course.

Speaking on the motion of no confidence in the Government

Today I'll be voting No Confidence in this Government.

The fuel protests were led by decent, hardworking ordinary people.

This Government's handling of the crisis, and their attempts to smear those involved, has been nothing short of shameful.

I was proud to go on national airwaves this morning to set the record straight and stand up for the working people of this country ahead of today's vote in Leinster House.

Enough is enough.

Threatening the media is an abuse of Ministerial power. It is authoritarian.

A Minister's job is to listen to the public, not silence those reporting their pain.

I've written to the Oireachtas Media Committee demanding the Minister come before it to answer questions.
