Bingo Fun at College View Nursing Home 🥰🥳
Bingo is always a highlight here at College View Nursing Home and it’s easy to see why🥰 Not only is it a fantastic way for residents to socialise and enjoy a few laughs together, but there’s also the added excitement of great prizes to be won

We are delighted to celebrate some of our recent Bingo prizewinners — Bridget, Teresa, Margaret, Ann and Maureen — who were very happy to show off what they won. Well done to all 👏

Bingo is just one of the many activities our residents can enjoy, but it remains a firm favourite for the fun, friendship and friendly competition it brings 💙

We marked Nollaig na mBan with a lovely afternoon of pampering and memories. Our residents enjoyed relaxing manicures and hand massages, along with a few special treats and drinks to make the occasion extra special.

The day was filled with laughter, chats, and beautiful reminiscence stories, as everyone shared memories and traditions associated with this special celebration. A truly enjoyable way to honour Nollaig na mBan together 💅🥂

🏋️‍♀️🏋️ Working off the festive treats at College View Nursing Home with a fantastic workout today led by Dara from Siel Bleu Ireland 💪

It’s great to kick off the New Year with movement, laughter and plenty of energy — especially after all the Christmas and New Year celebrations 🎄

The Siel Bleu programme brings tailored exercise to our residents, helping to improve strength, balance, mobility and overall wellbeing in a fun and social way 🤸‍♀️🙂

🎄🎨 Pre-Christmas Arts & Crafts at College View Nursing Home 🎨🎄

We enjoyed a lovely pre-Christmas arts & crafts afternoon with our Activities Coordinator, Fiona, who worked with residents and staff to create beautiful Christmas logs.

It was a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon, full of creativity, conversation, and festive cheer. 🥰

🎄🎅 Santa gets into the swing of things at College View Nursing Home Christmas Party 🎅🎄
Our Christmas Party, hosted by Jade Arbo, Director of Nursing! The day was filled with laughter, singing, and a lively Hokey Pokey dance featuring some of our Residents, Staff & Santa 💃

The celebrations also included fabulous food from our Chef and Kitchen team, and a wee festive tipple to toast the season! 🍰🥂

A huge thank you to our Activities Coordinators, Fiona and Ashley, for coordinating all the Activities throughout the year, and to the entire College View team for your dedication in making Christmas 2025 truly memorable for all our Residents.

🎄 Christmas Fun at College View Nursing Home 🎄 when we had a magical visit from Tommy Trickster 🧙‍♂️

He treated our residents to an elf magic show full of surprises. Ashley (Activities Coordinator) and Teresa (Resident) were invited up on stage to be Tommy Trickster's assistants (photos 2 & 3), making birds and chickens appear 🐦🐔

Every resident had the chance to hold and pet some furry and feathery friends, including a giant rabbit 🐇 and a guinea pig 🐹.

The fun didn’t stop there — our residents got involved in some magic tricks too! Kitty (Pic 3) amazed everyone by spinning a plate on a stick 😲

It was such great fun and an interactive afternoon, bringing smiles, laughter, and Christmas cheer to everyone 🎁💖

🎄 Christmas Cheer at College View Nursing Home where the festive season is in full swing ❤️

A huge thank you to Bronwyn from 11:11 Beauty & Skin Rooms and Ruth from Caterpillar Academy of Montessori for kindly dropping in Christmas gifts for our residents 🎁💖 – your thoughtfulness brought so much joy!

And what a treat it was to welcome Henry Jordan, Boyd George, Ernest Allen, and Jackson Wallis who filled the home with beautiful Christmas carols 🎄 – the residents loved every note🎅

It’s wonderful to see our community coming together to make this season extra special 🥳🎅

On Sunday, we were delighted to welcome the Cavan Baptist Church Choir to College View Nursing Home, where they shared the gift of music with our Residents and Staff ❤️

In this video, you will hear them sing “Silent Night” — a hymn that captures the true spirit of Christmas and brings back so many special memories. 🥰

Our sincere thanks to the Cavan Baptist Choir for giving their time and talent so generously. Your beautiful voices brought great joy and meaning to our home and made this Christmas season even more special
