Please come along 11am 3rd and share with everyone. We want to fill the room.

We have invited the new Minister with responsibility for Disabled People.

We have an incredible lineup of national speakers, the launch of our website and we are remembering past activists: Anne Leydon, Jerome Finnucane, Geraldine Keane, Martin Slattery, Pat Carey, Helen Leddy, Michael Chambers, Thomas Connole and Donnacha Rynne.

We in the Disabled peoples movement are shocked to learn of the sad passing of Graham Lightfoot. He used his expertise in transport consultancy to work with Disabled people and other community groups across Ireland and in particularly Clare to create a rural and urban transport system that was accessible and affordable to everybody. He was a true friend and ally. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

We were so sad to hear of the untimely death of our friend and comrade Graham Lightfoot, pictured here on the left. Clare PPN is far from alone in having benefitted for many years from his knowledge, kindness, patience and humour. He supported many of the groups we were involved in over the years and served on our Secretariat, and we used to meet him any time our members were campaigning for social justice, whether it was on housing, refugee rights, LGBTQIA+ solidarity, co-operatives or the environment he was always on the right side in all the right places. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.We send our condolences to Mary his wife and daughter Caitie, and all who loved him.
