🎭Remembering Murt on his birthday.

Front Page of today's Clare Champion, a portrait of West Clare Drama Festival's founding member, the late Murt McInerney, who sadly passed away in July 2025.

The portrait has pride of place at the front of the Community Hall in Doonbeg, as Murt's daughter Rita takes over the mantle on stage behind.

🌟This year's Festival is dedicated to his memory, honouring a man whose commitment shaped a community and whose legacy lives on in every light that warms the stage.
