An unusual patient in the clinic this week! A pipistrelles bat who was attacked by a cat. A little pain relief and rehydration from our wildlife enthusiast Vet Nurse Sara has him on the mend! He is now on this way to Bat Rehabilitation Ireland thanks to a local volunteer so he can recover from tear in his wing.

Tartar on your pets teeth can be the start of tooth decay resulting in tooth loss. Signs could include visable tartar on the teeth, odour from the mouth and being reluctant to eat their regular hard food in the advanced stages. A routine descaling can prevent all of these especially when done in the early stages.
