Kerry Canoe Club - Killorglin

Kerry Canoe Club - Killorglin Kerry Canoe Club Killorglin. All new members welcome. We will have regular trips organised for all disciplines and level of paddlers.

The Club was originally setup in 1997 and after a sabbatical has been resurrected for local paddlers to get together. Originally setup in 1997 by a group of local intrepid young people starting out their journey to paddling stardom. After a period of quiet it was decided to get the club up and running again for the benefit of all paddlers in the area. We are blessed in Kerry with some of the best and most varied rivers available to paddle along with some fantastic stretches of coastline that has so much wonder to offer for such a short paddle for any one of our numerous beaches around the county. Our aim is to cater to all sections of paddling from white water kayaking and canoeing to sea trips and surf day to leisurely days on lakes and waterways. Every level of paddler are welcome to the club from those who would like to learn to sport from scratch to those looking to take on the some big water with friends.

"I loved making new friends and challenging myself. We had so much fun, and we all laughed so hard. The tutors were very well prepared to teach people with vision impairment, and that helped me feel more confident." - Participant

Thats what we like to hear!

Our Vision Impaired Canoeing Try-It! Day was a huge success! Thanks to Kerry Canoe Club, Vision Sport Ireland, Canoeing Ireland, and all the participants for a brilliant day on the water!
