The birthday celebrations are continuing into today!!! I just want to wish the world's greatest Mum (who looks like my sister!!!😂) the happiest birthday ever!! We made short work of her birthday cake yesterday!! And now everyone knows why she's called Noelle!!! For her present this year, we're sending her to a beautiful hotel in January for "A night away from us monsters"!!! 🤣 Happy birthday Mum!!!!

I hope everyone is having a peaceful day!!!
I was thrilled this morning to call to some of our incredible Garda stations in South Tipperary and Clonmel Hospital with some goodies to thank them face to face for all they do when working on such an important day, all to keep every one of us safe and healthy!! It's heartbreaking to see kids in hospital today, but amazing at the same time to know that the staff made sure that Santa came, with an es**rt from the Gardai to get him there!!! I really thank them all for what they do!!! 🩷

I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!! I know for a fact that Santa is on his way, and l think my 2 brothers Neil & John will be rewarded bigtime for their goodness all year!!!
Now l must go and pack my own Santa sack full of goodies as I'll be delivering treats in the morning to our amazing local Gardai & nurses who are our first and only line of defense!! Thanks for your service folks!!!

So there's big breaking news coming from Dublin about my amazing brother Neil - his school placement court case is over, and it's a HUGE success for him!!!

This case was never about anything else only securing the exact resources from the Department of Education & NCSE that Neil needed!!

So Neil will remain in Scoil Chormaic special school and he gets his own personal teacher within the small class, because that's what his profound intellectual disability requires, fullstop. While he's had that teacher since September, it's now offically rubber stamped!! His world will now open up forever, so I'm thrilled to be just a small part of getting this over the line!!!

The Department will pay for every single penny that it cost my parents to prove their case. And Neil, and many others in the school, will be accessing big resources like horse-riding, swimming etc, so that's massive for Neil.

As everyone knows, I'm a 100% positive person, so I genuinely thank the Minister for Education and her Department for seeing the facts of this case, and agreeing to the above. The best part of the deal is that there's no confidentiality agreement of any type so I'm 100% free to advocate our case to those in Leinster House as a potential solution in so many other school placement cases, and I'll start doing that from January!!!

I have to say a million billion thanks to our amazing solicitor Niamh Maher of Healy Law solicitors!! I'm totally biased towards Niamh for 2 reasons!! - we're fellow South Tipp ladies, and we both think that Colin Farrell is a total & utter hunk, but hey, that's not a bad thing is it!!! And huge thanks to barrister Brendan Hennessy for getting this through the courts with such expertise and passion!!

But today is a MASSIVE day in Neil's life, even though he has no awareness whatsoever of it, so I know that everyone will be absolutely thrilled for him as Xmas has truly come early!!! GO NEIL!!!

And finally, if l had any words that I wish l could place inside his brain, it would be the words from a particular song -
"Wherever you are,
My love will keep you safe.
My heart will build a bridge of light,
Across both time and space"!! 😊

I'm literally speechless!! - I've just come home to this incredible hamper, and loads of kind cards etc. Everyone knows how grateful l am for kindness like this, but I've never done my national advocacy campaign for children with disabilities to get presents or gifts, so I'm just blown away every time something comes through the door!! 🩷 All l can say is a million billion thanks to everyone who has ever engaged with me in any way, or ever showed kindness to me - your positivity keeps me going in those tough moments when it gets really hard!!!! I've officially got the best parents in the world!! They've just surprised me with tickets to Cian Ducrot tonight so Mum and I are on the train to Dublin for the big concert at the 3 Arena, I can't wait!!! It's some change from the last time I was in Dublin - sleeping in a tent in Storm Bram at Leinster House!!! 🤣 And Penneys doesn't know it yet, but that shop is getting hit BIGTIME today!!! 😁 Have the best weekend everyone!!! 🩷
