A look back on my teaching journey in 2024 and at a quick glance I would say it was a quiet year compared to previous years and felt a little disappointed.
Then I thought about it more, and realised it was actually a year to be proud of. πŸ’•
I taught a flow yoga class for a wellbeing event in Kilkenny Design for SEABODY in Galway City.
I started doing the occasional cover for Womens Fitness Cork and ended up covering classes for the last 2 months of the year which was great as I got to see students return to the mat each week.
I set up a month of weekly lunch time classes in my workplace for colleagues in our wellbeing room which was well received and greatly appreciated by colleagues and the company.
As well as all this, I tried out a yoga studio and different teachers to practice with for my own yoga journey.
I reconnected with a friend I done my own yoga teacher training with Spiralized YogaπŸ’•
I also moved home to Ireland after 4 years of living in Australia and travelling. I moved to a new county where I didn’t know many people and got a new job. Getting settled was a challenge in itself and my own practice was my priority at this time.
A few injuries have set me back in practising and teaching currently, but I will recover and get back on the mat asap.
A year of more teaching experiences and connections is always something to be proud of and acknowledge.
Looking forward to teaching and practising again in 2025 and being open to what comes my way! πŸ™πŸ»
Thank you to everyone who I met, taught and connected with in 2024 ✨
See you soon. X

I’m delighted to be offering on-site yoga classes at my workplace for the next 4 weeks! πŸ’•
I had my first class yesterday at lunchtime where I got to meet new colleagues as well as connect with colleagues I already know.
It was great to get on the mat on the middle of the day to reset.πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
I’m so thankful to my workplace for allowing me to offer these classes to staff!
