Welcome to our new Beach side Sauna at Gobby Beach in Cork.

Tucked away in the Ringaskiddy area with Public transport dropping next to the Sauna, the Atlanticway Sauna will be operating at Gobby Beach , on the outstanding Cork Harbour.

We are currently operating in Ringaskiddy on Saturday and Sundays. , This Reel displays the fantastic Sauna we have created and what can be expected when you visit

We’ve got a few free spots available for a Sauna + Sea Dip session this Sunday at 10AM with Atlanticway Sauna — and trust us, it feels fantastic!

Worried about the cold water? Don’t be! The sauna warms you right up before and after. Plus, cold dips are proven to:

What does Löyly mean in Finnish Sauna Culture?

Löyly is a Finnish term referring to the steam and heat created when water is thrown onto hot sauna stones. It plays a crucial role in the sauna experience, influencing both temperature and humidity. The word can also describe the overall feeling of warmth and relaxation in the sauna.

In Finnish culture, good löyly is highly valued, and different types of wood or sauna stoves can affect its quality. Some people even describe löyly as having a “soul,” emphasizing its importance in creating a soothing and enjoyable sauna atmosphere.

How hot are Finnish Sauna’s when experiencing Löyly..?

Typically Finnish sauna operates at 80–90°C (176–194°F). This is considered the ideal range for a traditional Finnish sauna experience. It provides a balance of heat and humidity, especially when löyly (steam) is added by throwing water onto the hot stones.

Some saunas may be slightly cooler (around 70°C) for a milder experience, while others—especially in competitive or extreme sauna culture—can exceed 100°C. However, 80–90°C is the most common range in Finnish Saunas.

We finalised the design of our fantastic new logo for our Beach Barrel Sauna Venture due to launch Early March in Loughbeg Beach.

This Logo was designed by the brilliant Anita of . Anita has designed all of my various branded Logos, and is just fabulous to work with I highly recommend.

This Logo is based on the design of our logo which was also designed by Anita. We love the simple, vibrant but also informative look of this design.

We hope to see all down in Loughbeg Beach soon, for some deep relaxation, recovery, and all the fantastic Health Benefits of Contrast Therapy.
