Why Brigid?
Many are newly seeking deity suppprt or deepening their existing practice with spirituality, practical physics and magic.
More and more are engaging with dark goddess energy, and powerful deities like An Morrigán, Kali and Hekate.
But did you know that there is another dark goddess, who you might not recognise as dark. She is Brigid! She brings - not destruction and annihilation - but Love!
I’m Orlaith and I’m a devotee of Brigid. Christians may know a version of her as St Brigid.
She offers her gifts to help us hold courage and hope, and to cultivate compassion. She holds the space to grieve, if your soul needs to grieve… She inspires begin new ways of being, if the rotting-away ways feel dead to you.
Imbolg passes on 2nd February this year. At this cross quarter festival, Brigid’s energy rises from earth, as green shoots push through cold frost, and grass roots break winter’s spell.
Join us 31st January, online, at 5pm GMT.
We gather online to prepare for Brigid’s arrival, and explore how she can bring strength to new beginnings, creativity and magic in your life.
In this sacred space we will invite her through ritual, meet her energy in meditation, and explore invocation practices in preparation for the festival of Imbolg
There are two payment options to choose from, depending on your circumstances.
However, if you are deeply called to join us but finances tell you it’s impossible, reach out and we will find a way.
The exchange cost for this event is not a paywall. It’s a way for attendees to invest in this solemn (but fun!) practice, and a way to help me continue to do what I do.
Brigid wants to help us to help - and a concept like money is not going to stop anybody from following that call xx
Brigid instructs, every day until Imbolg: Light a candle or tend a fire. Watch the flame for a few minutes, with an open mind. Step outside and look at sky, observe until it awes you. Give thanks for waking and sleeping. Relentlessly seek out beauty, awe and compassion.
