WINTER COVID VACCINES

We are now arranging clinics for the new COVID winter booster.

The following are the guidlines for the booster administration.
All those aged 50 and older
Those aged 5-49 immunocompromised
Those aged 5-49 with medical conditions associated with higher risk
Residents in Nursing Homes and other long stay institutions
Healthcare workers

To receive the vaccine it needs to be at least 3 months since your previous COVID vaccine or if you have tested positive for the COVID virus recently there needs to be 3 months between the positive test and the administration of the vaccine.

If you are eligible for this vaccine please call the surgery to book into our vaccine clinic.

FLU VACCINES
Its that time of year again.
Flu vaccines are now available in the surgey.
We will be sending reminder texts to those who got it last year. If you don't get a text please call the surgery after 18th September for an appointment with the Practice Nurse.

Important Notice: Car Park Clamping Enforcement

Clamping is now being strictly enforced in Boyne Shopping Centre car park.
Please note: this is managed by a private company and is not connected with the surgey.

The current release fee for a clamp is €125

We strongly advise all patients attennding the surgery to:

1. Ensure you have a valid parking ticket for the full duration of your visit.
2. Allow extra time for possible delays within the surgery, so your ticket remains valid.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

From the 1st June 2025 you can get free hrt from a pharmacy participating in the free HRT scheme

If you have a prescription from a GP or Consultant.
Are registration for the drug payment scheme or have a medical card

You can apply for a drug payment card if you are ordinarily resident in Ireland. This means youbare living in Ireland and intend to live here for a minimum of 1 year
