As I am starting a new term of guided breathing sessions in October - I thought I'd share a little post on what even IS "Breathwork" 🌊
There are SOooo many different styles and ways of practising breathwork 💨💭
Some activate your stress response and are helpful in releasing emotions and can be quite transformative experiences 💫🤩🧚♀️ This is NOT the style or type I am doing - maybe one day!
My breathwork sessions are ideal for those who:
➡️ Feel stressed
➡️ Feel wound up
➡️ Feel overwhelmed
➡️ Can be irritable and reactive
➡️ Overthink, have trouble making decisions
➡️ Prioritise everything else above themselves
➡️ Find it hard to wind down and rest
➡️ Crave a sense of calm and peace in their body and mind
➡️ Want to improve their mood and mindset
➡️ Really great for those who experience PMS, irritability
➡️ For M**s who need a much needed break
The style I am bringing to my upcoming sessions is all about calming the mind down, calming the body down, helping you rest, and deeply relax 💫🌊🦋
It is VERY rare for us to give ourselves dedicated time to recharge - like ACTUALLY recharge, not just collapse onto the couch at the end of the week!
