Today the 3rd of April 2026 marks 2 year since we lost our amazing friend and colleague, Andrew.
Andrew was a well-travelled and highly experienced Advanced Paramedic, and a driving force behind Medicall throughout his many years of involvement as a Director.
His vision, leadership, and commitment to excellence played a significant role in shaping Medicall into what it is today.
He was instrumental in introducing cutting-edge technology into the ambulance service industry in Ireland, with Medicall becoming the first to implement equipment and initiatives that have since become standard practice nationwide.
Andrew also founded the Medicall Training Institute, leaving a lasting legacy in education and professional development.
In recognition of his contribution, our main training hall has been named the Andy Lyle Education Suite in his honor.
Andrew’s impact continues to be felt across Medicall and the wider industry. He is remembered not only for his innovation and leadership, but also for his dedication, knowledge, and the influence he had on those who worked alongside him.
As a practitioner many owe their lives,
as a Director many owe their career.
