Move! Shift! Nourish!
This quarterly offering has been growing and shifting and transforming, sort of like the sweetie seeds that are working their ways through the soil to find the light. This time around we are moving! Sloughing! Shifting! Releasing! Nourishing! Join me next month for some sweet, sweet Time With Body.
How do we tend to our bodies through transition? Through challenge? Through emotion, unknown, change? An invitation to turn to our skin. To our nervous system. To our tender bodies as we move through our lives– the tenderness, beauty, joy, tragedy and grief, how do we contact our tissues?
With this shift from the winter to spring, as we move out of the darkness into the melty gooey goodness of spring, we might ask, what does my body need? What have I gathered? What am I ready to let go of? What sensations are moving through me? With society shifting, our eyes opening and disintegration of tangled belief systems, we might ask, what do I do?
In this two hour virtual workshop, we will be exploring the practices that support the body in the transition of winter to spring.
What does the body need as we begin to stir from the winter?
How do we process and release the weight of what we have been digesting?
We will be moving our joints in a physical practice called Ksatriya to lubricate and tend to the spaces between our muscles.
We will practice Garshana, dry brushing to stimulate our circulation and lymphatic systems.
We will round out our time together with a Abhyang, guided self massage, to support YOU in your unique manifestation of being as you move through this time in your life.
A practice of care in community, so that we may continue onward.
Transmuting, building relationship with our bodies and our beings so we may arrive with integrity, agency and truth.
There are no prerequisites to join! You are encouraged to invite your buddies, family and loved ones! This is a time for you to give back to your body, to release, replenish and restore.
