I received lovely feedback from a parent last week ✨

Therapy plays a big role in child development such as building confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation. In this case, a lot of trust was placed on me, and they put in the hard work coming every week and bringing consistency which is super important in therapy.

I just got a message to say this child did a full day of school on his own today. When a few months ago they weren’t able to go at all. Overall, happier, more confident and their little personality is coming through! Just WOW!

🐾 Ted the Therapy Dog 🐾

This week, our therapy room had a very special visitor — my dog, Teddy 🐶 One of the children I work with always asked how Ted was doing, so with permission, Ted came along to meet him in person.

They played, laughed, and even explored emotions together through our Inside Out toys — imagining how Ted might feel in different situations. It was a beautiful, gentle way to talk about feelings, and the bond they formed was heartwarming.

There was lots of laughter and cuddles and to be honest it was one of the most memorable moments in my career 🥹 The child left with more confidence, a big smile, and plenty of Ted stories to share at home. Sometimes, the smallest moments create the biggest connections. 💛 It only takes one good adult to make a huge impact on a child’s life but maybe it only takes one good dog 👀😂

And as always, many thanks to the parents who trust me to provide a safe space for their child 💛
