We can confirm that Cathal Heffernan is to join , after the Italian side exercised their option to sign him permanently following his loan spell.

It's a very exciting day for Togher AC today as, at precisely 4.36pm (GMT), senior member Liam Harris will take to the track at the Meeting d'Athletisme de l'Eure in France to compete in the 1500m. Liam is looking to open his season in strong form following a month of Winter training in South Africa.

Delighted to share the stage at last nights q&a on the drive behind the 20x20 initiative. Starting out in underage sport going through the drop off years and coming out the other end still wanting to compete... Having a baby 🤰 and returning to sport and had the honor of competing at European, World and Olympic level with a 4+year old child....Becoming apart of my husbands coaching team in 2012 where years of hard work culminated in him becoming European/World and Olympic Medalist.... To our life now raising our kids hoping that the experiences we shared with through our training/competition days will have a positive impact on them and will not label or inhibit any decision they choose. @ University College Cork

What a journey it has been to this point for our son .heffernan getting his first Cap for Ireland 🇮🇪.
Being a massive part of our sporting career, training camps and competitions. It is a pleasure to see him go through his own sporting milestones🇮🇪⚽️🏐. Thank you for the coaching put into cathal to date. You try to do your best as a parent and expose them to different worlds and opportunities. The freezing cold sidelines, wet days, wins, losses is all preparing them for everything life may throw. To say we are proud is an understatement not only for the Cap but for the person he has becoming. .heffernan

Myself and Rob had the honor of launching the annual Barnardos Collection Day with the kind support of Dell Technologies. Today they launched their local call for volunteers in Cork. The children’s charity, who work with more than 17,600 children each year and has three centres in Cork, needs valuable volunteers for their National Collection Day, kindly supported by Dell, on September 13th.

By shaking a bucket or joining an in store bag pack for just two hours, each volunteer can raise up to €100 for vulnerable children in their community. People can register here: www.barnardos.ie/buckets.
