This is a really thoughtful piece about the dis-ease of being relentlessly busy. I was particularly struck by this sentence: "What happened to a world in which we can sit with the people we love so much and have slow conversations about the state of our heart and soul, conversations that slowly unfold, conversations with pregnant pauses and silences that we are in no rush to fill?"

It struck me because it felt like we had that kind of conversation at our Yogaramics workshop recently, as well as getting muddy and messy!

Our overscheduled lives leave little time for contemplation and reflection. How do we enable each other to pause and ask how our hearts are doing?

Interesting. We had a really enriching conversation around the table over lunch at Yogaramics yesterday about the importance of work culture and the value of saying no. As I catch up on my Sunday papers, I see the The Business Post was exploring those themes in a piece by Aoife McElwain. Great minds and all that ;-)

Great to see Ibec encouraging and supporting employers to prioritise well-being with their KeepWell mark! We're big fans of wellbeing too and looking forward to promoting it in a practical way with a new group on Sunday :-)
