This is why I gave set up the Grief Support Circle.

It is important that when you are ready you find what helps you through ❤️

Grief has been the biggest challenge but greatest teacher of my life.

Grief has taught me how fragile life is and not to sweat the small stuff.

If I want to do something I work towards it or just do it as the time is not guaranteed.

I used to be so caught up in work and getting promoted, I work to live now and focus more on my family and friends and nurturing those relationships.

We have this one precious life to live, go out and live it ❤️

When grieving Winter can suit you, the darkness and hibernation can mirror how you are feeling as you navigate life without your person.

Spring brings brighter evenings, fresh plans and brightness.

Acknowledge how you are feeling and seek support with it if needed. I am four years in and I don’t find the change as harsh now so it can and will get easier ❤️

Please see what I have set up and why I am so passionate about it. I remember how lost I was and I could not find a group to support me so I created one that I would have loved to have 3 years ago.

I combine the power of connecting with people who understand, Reiki and Breathwork to help you on your Grief Journey.

If you would like to attend my monthly group or see me one to one just reach out ❤️

As part of in association with the here are some things you can say to a person in the early stages of Grief.

Remembering that no words can heal but validating that it is very hard is supportive

Talking about the person they have lost is not reminding them they have died but showing them that you care to remember or know them

Don’t ask them to reach out, offer to help with something specific and show up and see what else you can do on that day

These are the books that helped me navigate grief with my young daughter

The Paper Dolls by Julia Donaldson
The Invisible String by Patrice Karst #
The Memory Tree by Britta Teckentrup
Is Daddy Coming back in a minute by Elke and Alex Barber

It is a good idea to have these books on the shelf and it can be an indication that your child needs some space for their grief or for you to check in

My next Grief Support Circle is on Valentines Day ❤️

We can have a Valentines Day with a difference by talking about the love we have for those no longer with us.

If you would like to book in you can email me or message me here

So delighted to be back hosting Grief Support Circles.

Today’s one was special, so much lovely sharing, compassion and deep understanding in the room.

Special shot of the person that is the reason I do this work at the end. Without loving and losing Javi I would not be holding these special days ❤️

Here is some breathwork to help you calm your nervous system. There is a lot going on right now and I am sure I am not the only one feeling very overwhelmed. Take care of yourself ❤️

I want to offer one more Grief Support Circle this year and this time it is a Sunday.

Maybe like me you are solo parenting young kids and Sunday afternoon is a time when they don’t have activities! Or maybe Sunday is a good time to give yourself a break and reset before the week ahead ❤️

Either way, I would love to welcome you into a lovely support space for Widowed People ❤️
