Interviewing is a delicate balancing act; you want structure and a plan of action, but it’s also really important not to over-script; you should always be prepared to feed off each interviewee’s answer.

However, there are a few essential interview questions that you simply must somehow weave into any interview in order to find out more about the candidate and their core values ➡️ here are some examples ✍️

If you are a candidate, on the other side of the interview process, make sure you have answers to these questions prepared in advance. Your interviewer will expect you to have considered these questions prior to applying!

Last week we ran a poll on LinkedIn based on a recent survey done by the National Recruitment Federation, to find out what your preferred working model is 🧑🏻‍💻

The results gathered were quite fascinating:
💥 Only 4% of respondents would like a full return to the office
💥 A whopping 56% would prefer going into the office 2-3 times per week
💥 17% would rather spend 4-5 days per month in the office
💥 23% stated they'd like to only go into the office as and when required

It is clear that there is no one-fits-all approach when it comes to working models. Covid-19 has disrupted the workplace so drastically and at such a rapid pace that going back to the pre-pandemic normal is not an option 🚫

Companies and leaders need to embrace these changes, adopt new behaviours and reshape their business model in order to thrive in the new normal 🙌🏼
