World Sleep Day felt like the perfect time to offer a little extra support 🤍

If sleep has been feeling exhausting lately... Frequent wakes, short naps, bedtime battles... please know you're not alone. These are common struggles in the first few months/years with your baby. You are not doing anything wrong.

💤 But quite often, a few small changes can make a big difference.

📣 I'm offering 10% off my sleep packages this week. Start with a free 15-minute sleep plan call so we can talk about what’s going on for your baby.

In that call we'll:
• look at what's happening with sleep
• identify one small step to try
• decide if personalised support would help

✨ I’m limiting this to 4 families this month so each family receives calm, unhurried support.

Send me a DM saying WORLD or book your call through the link in my bio.

I would love to help you and your family to have more sleep! 💕

“When will my baby sleep through the night?” 😩

It’s one of the questions almost every parent asks at some point… usually at 2am while rocking a baby who has just woken... again.

If this is you, I want you to know that:

👶🏼 Waking during the night is very normal and expected for babies. Especially in the early months.

🤱🏼 Newborns need to feed frequently because their tiny stomachs simply can’t hold enough milk to last all night. So those night wakings you’re experiencing are usually your baby doing exactly what their body is designed to do.

But here’s something many parents are surprised to learn:
There actually isn’t a specific age or weight when babies suddenly start sleeping through the night.

Sleep depends on many things: development, feeding, daytime sleep, and bedtime routines.

In my latest blog I explain:
✅ why babies wake at night
✅ What influences consolidated sleep at night
✅ simple bedtime routines that helps babies settle better

If you’re in the middle of broken nights right now, this will really help you understand what’s normal.

You can read the blog through the link in my bio.

And if you’re rocking your baby while reading this… take a deep breath.

You’re doing amazing 🤍

Tell me, how many times did your baby wake up last night? 🥱

Starting solids isn’t just about food.

It’s not just purées or finger foods, allergens or weaning schedules.

It’s about inviting your baby into family life. 🏡

It’s the beginning of sitting together at the table. Watching you.
Copying you.
Laughing with you.

It’s eye contact, messy hands, little smiles and those first shared meals that quietly become part of your family story. ✨

Your baby doesn’t care if it’s perfectly cut avocado or organic porridge.

They care that you’re there.
They care about connection.
They care about feeling included. 💕

When we shift the focus from “how much did they eat?” to “how did that feel for both of us?” everyone can take a breath.

Mealtimes become calmer.
More joyful.
Less pressured.

And that’s what I’m so passionate about, helping you feel confident, relaxed and connected as you start this new chapter. ⭐

If I'm you’re beginning solids soon (or even just thinking about it), come along to my Starting Solids class tomorrow. You’ll leave feeling clear, calm and ready.

Pop me a message for the details or book your spot now 🤍

And you can read my full blog at the link in my bio.

Why is my baby so fussy in the evening? 😩

If your newborn seems like a happy, calm, content little person during the day but becomes unsettled, clingy or tearful in the evening, you're not alone!

Evening fussiness is very common in the first few weeks.

By the end of the day, babies are:
✔️ overtired,
✔️ overstimulated
✔️ want to tank up on milk before the night sleep.
✔️ Their nervous systems are still developing, and they need extra closeness to feel regulated.

❌ It doesn’t mean your milk supply is low.
❌ It doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong.

✨ Small tweaks to daytime naps, feeding patterns, and how you approach the evening routine can make a real difference. ✨

And sometimes, reassurance that this phase is normal is what parents need most.

☎️ If evenings feel overwhelming or you’re worried something isn’t right, I'd love to chat with you.

You’re very welcome to book a free discovery call at the link in my bio. 🤍

Newborn and breastfeeding support in South Dublin & North Wicklow 🤍

The story of a recent mum I supported:

Breastfeeding was painful.
Her baby had been in NICU.
She was triple feeding — breast, bottle and pumping.
She was exhausted, sore and wondering if she could keep going, even though she had always hoped to breastfeed.

👩🏼‍⚕️ After a full feeding assessment, we made gentle but effective changes to latch and positioning. We reviewed sucking skills, feeding patterns and weight.

💞 We created a realistic plan that felt manageable for her.

✨ She is now exclusively breastfeeding and she feels confident. ✨

Early motherhood and breastfeeding help isn’t just about one feed.
It’s about reassurance.
Follow-up.
Having someone in your corner as things change week to week. 🙏🏼

👶🏼 That’s exactly why I created my Newborn Days Support Package: to offer ongoing, personalised, evidence-based care in those early weeks. From a registered children's nurse, midwife and mum who has been in your shoes.

Most mums wait longer than they need to before reaching out.

If this feels familiar, just comment SUPPORT below 🤍

I would love this to be your breastfeeding story too 🤱🏼

Read this mum's full Google review in the comments.

(If you would prefer a one-off appointment, I also offer standalone breastfeeding consultations. Depending on your provider, consultations may be covered by private health insurance.)
