So sad to hear of the passing of Alice Wong.
A true bad ass and an enormous driving force in disability rights and justice. Alice did exceptional work in dismantling ableism and lifting the voices of disabled people when it came to autonomy, self determination. intimacy and epistemic injustice.
She edited the book Disability Visibility, an anthology of first person stories from disabled people and wrote many other books.
She was a force to be reckoned with and will be missed by the disability communities, their allies and many more besides.

Mark, Louise and Evan were a part of my life for many years and were my first real introduction to the Autistic community, before I even was an OT. My interactions with them really influenced my career journey and my interest in the Autistic community ( before I knew that I'm Autistic) They were kind, caring people with generous spirits and also really great craic. I always felt so welcome in their home, and was always comfortable and happy to be there. Our interactions were less frequent in recent years but always warm and I always felt such joy after. I have such great memories and they deserve to remembered for the shining lights they were. Katie
