My name is Tracey.
I am first and foremost a wife and mother to five beautiful children.
My work life has consisted of predominantly in caring for others. More recently as a Care Assistant for the elderly, however my roots are in Child Care. I have a wealth of experience in both pre and after school child care services and management.
I am a caring and responsible person. I’m musician at heart with a great sense of adventure and ability to bring fun to any situation. Traits I intend to use to nurture the next generation through play and learning.
Where the idea for Kids Rule after School was born:
Having moved to the locality from the south side suburbs’ of Dublin I looked forward to raising my family in a secure rural location offering them all of the benefits of a country upbringing. However having experienced and worked in the Childcare industry for over a decade I soon noticed that this is an area lacking in variety and pocket friendly options for families in Roscommon, particularly for those who require after school care.
I have been fortunate enough to have first hand experience with the day to day running of a similar successful model currently servicing almost 200 children after school in the Dublin area and am drawing on this experience along with my own both as a mother, carer and entertainer to establish Kids Rule after School.
What Kids Rules after School uniquely offer:
At Kids Rule after School our main objective is to create a fun yet stimulating environment where children can continue to develop their social, physical, intellectual and emotional skills. We endeavour to create a loving and caring ‘home away from home’ environment where children can relax and feel comfortable after their day at school.
We cater for all age groups, classes and needs. The afternoon routine revolves around the children and ensuring that all of their needs are met, whether these are big or small.
Each after-school space consists of a fun filled activity area and a dining/homework area. Our homework and dining area is simply laid out so as to provide a calm and relaxing environment with no unnecessary distractions - This allows the children to enjoy a nutritious meal or snack, chat with their friends and carers about their day, and complete homework assignments.
Kids Rule after School will offer a collection service for children from local catchment areas including Ballinameen, Croghan, Elphin, Killina and Kilmore.
Kids Rule After School Services also offer Camps for all school holidays.
