We opened The Rainbow Room on 28 February 2020 with the intent of building up some savings from selling our plant-based sushi to eventually open up an ethical trade shop and plant-based cafe. Unfortunately, the one-two weeks following our launch set the tone for what was to come. Opening a business during a pandemic is far from easy and for us, it simply hasn't been successful enough to keep going, despite our efforts over the last 6 months. Realistically and financially, we cannot go on.ย

We decided to close for now and operate only for catering,ย with a minimum of 30 rolls per order.ย
