We opened The Rainbow Room on 28 February 2020 with the intent of building up some savings from selling our plant-based sushi to eventually open up an ethical trade shop and plant-based cafe. Unfortunately, the one-two weeks following our launch set the tone for what was to come. Opening a business during a pandemic is far from easy and for us, it simply hasn't been successful enough to keep going, despite our efforts over the last 6 months. Realistically and financially, we cannot go on.

We decided to close for now and operate only for catering, with a minimum of 30 rolls per order.

Beyond thrilled to announce that our sushi takeaway will be happening out of Pot Duggans, starting this Friday! More days will be added soon, so stay tuned! You can now order for Friday takeaway, and don’t forget, we have smaller rolls available, too! 🌈🌈

The idea is to provide foods and goods that—to the very best of our ability—cause no harm in any way to people, animals or the environment and that are accessible to everyone.
