On Saturday we had our first live session to mark the end of the first month of the Support Programme, and it felt really special to gather as a group.

Together, we explored our community values (contract) and reflected on how we want to show up for one another, creating a shared sense of trust and connection.

We also met in the smaller ‘clearings’ groups, which gave space for more personal conversation and deeper reflection. During these sessions, we worked with prompts around attachment, noticing patterns, and exploring ways to understand ourselves and our relationships more fully.

What has it been like for you to be part of this community so far?

So much of the work we do is not about pushing, fixing, or forcing ourselves to be different, but about creating enough safety to honestly meet what’s already here.

When we feel accepted by ourselves, something begins to soften. From there, change often happens organically, without pressure.

This understanding sits at the heart of the Support Programme: a place to meet yourself as you are, and to be gently accompanied as things shift in their own time.

I loved reading this message.
I’m so happy knowing the grounding audio is being used, and that it’s offering support more than once.

Every week in the Support Programme includes a new grounding audio you can return to whenever you need it.

Life moves fast, and it’s easy to forget to check in with yourself. This is an invitation to spend just five mindful minutes.

Notice your breath. Feel your body. Observe your thoughts without trying to change them. Even a brief pause can help you feel calmer, clearer, and more present.

Could you take five minutes for yourself today?

Each weekday in the Support Programme, a journal prompt is shared, connected to the theme we’re exploring.

Some people like to write on the day a prompt arrives. Others return to them later in the week, or let them sit quietly until there’s space.

There’s no expectation to keep pace or stay “up to date”. The prompts are there to support reflection, not to create another task.

Some months include a fifth week, which can offer extra breathing room, a chance to revisit prompts or projects you missed.

How does journaling help you? ✍🏼

We’re entering Week 3 of the Support Programme, a week about 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡.

After exploring our challenges, we now ask: what wants to develop here? Sometimes that looks like a clear intention, other times it’s simply a subtle shift in awareness, energy, or compassion toward ourselves.

If this kind of reflective, supported work sounds helpful to you, you’re very welcome to join the Support Programme. You can sign up anytime on my website, I’d love to have you there.

Which word feels most true for you this week: growth, patience, curiosity, possibility, something else?

As the weekend approaches, this is a gentle invitation to slow things down a little.

You might ask yourself:
Do I really need to check that email right now? Does this decision need to be made today? Can this work call wait until Monday?

If it can, see what it’s like to let it rest for a while. Even small pauses can give your nervous system a chance to settle and remind you that not everything needs immediate attention…

Enjoy your weekend 🌞

Something some people are looking for in the Support Programme is accountability.
That word can mean different things to different people.

It could simply be about naming an intention and letting it be seen.

For example: I’m booked to walk a 42km marathon in May. I know I need to walk regularly to prepare, even on the days I don’t feel like it — especially when it’s cold or wet (which, living in the West of Ireland, is often). Saying this out loud helps. It reminds me why I’m doing it, and helps me keep going. 🚶🏻‍♀️

If it’s helpful to you, you can use the Support Programme’s community to share intentions or goals and find a sense of accountability alongside others on a similar journey.

Do you find sharing your intentions helpful?

Group work has a powerful way of reminding us that we are not alone, as one participant so beautifully described.

This April, the Expressive Arts Retreat offers space to explore, share, and connect with others in a supportive group setting. You can reflect, create, work with something specific, or notice what comes up in the moment.

Curious to join or learn more? Email me at paulashort@me.com, I’d love to hear from you!

Week 1 of the Support Programme has been a lovely start! Here are just some of the highlights from this first week: exploring concepts, trying out journal prompts, listening to guided audio, and beginning to connect in the community.

Every element is optional — some people dip in where it feels right, others try everything. There’s no pressure, just support and space to explore.

Which part of the programme would you be most curious to try?

As we move toward the weekend, this is an invitation to notice where you might be holding tension, your tongue, your jaw, shoulders, hands, chest, feet, and see if anything can soften, even slightly.

Just a moment of unclenching can be enough to bring a little relief.

Some people love structure — lists, routines, and the quiet satisfaction of ticking a box at the end of the day. ✅
For others, tracking can feel like pressure rather than support.

The planner that comes with the Support Programme is completely optional. It’s there as a gentle way to notice what you’ve engaged with during the week — opening the weekly email, reflecting on the theme, listening to an audio, journalling, connecting with the community, or making time for the creative project.

It can be especially useful during the catch-up weeks (those fifth weeks in some months), offering a simple overview of what you’ve already explored and what you might like to return to.

There’s no expectation to do everything. This is just one tool you can lean on if structure helps you feel oriented and supported — and something you can set aside if it doesn’t.

One participant has already said, “𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳!”
Hearing that makes me really happy — because the programme is already doing exactly what it’s designed to do: support you, in a way that works for you.
