As a Healing Practitioner and IET and Reiki Master trainer of many years, I was constantly being asked to teach more classes, it was there the idea of this school first came about so now as we approach Sept 2012 I have decided to expand my teaching expertise to those who are interested in receving some of the knowledge I have received through the years. We believe the quality of training offered by the highly skilled and qualified tutors at the Irish Academy of Natural Health (IANH) is second to none. Our vision is to empower you to develop your intuition, self belief and abilities through touch, energy, bodywork and reflective practice, encouraging you to explore further however long you study with us, whether just a few hours, months or years. I have always been blessed to attract the most wonderful people who have wished to either come to me for treatments or study and share with me and because of this there is a strong community spirit around the school as well as in my clinic work. We aim to offer something for everyone from learning to give a holistic treatment to friends and family in one introductory weekend through to Professional Diploma training of IET, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Hot Stone Therapy and Massage. The Course Director and Principal Tutor Norah Coyne is not only expert in Holistic Therapies but brings with her years of professional practice across a range of complementary and alternative health disciplines. So, you can be sure that you will be supported by experienced and knowledgeable people at every stage of your journey with us. We also aim to run an extensive post graduate program supporting practitioners with Continuous Professional Development (CPD) teaching, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stones for Reflexologists, Aromatherapy, Baby Massage. Last but certainly not least, we offer and host a variety of community-based classes and workshops and such as meditation and healing with angels workshops, Lifeskills, IET and Reiki.
