What sets you up for the day? ☀️
For March I’ve been trying to get up that little bit earlier… and it’s honestly making such a difference.

First thing I do is have a Revive Zest (not an ad, just something I love!) which gives me a nice boost of energy. Then I take a few minutes to do some gentle stretching to wake my body up before the day properly begins.

Nothing extreme.
Nothing complicated.
Just small, consistent habits.

Those little changes, repeated every day, really do add up over time. Your body — and mind — will thank you for it. ✨

As a stretch therapist working with women in their 40s & 50s, here’s why I’d never do these things:
1️⃣ I’d never push through sharp pain�Pain isn’t “weakness leaving the body” — it’s your nervous system asking for support. Especially in perimenopause and menopause, joints and tissues need kinder, smarter movement, not punishment.
2️⃣ I’d never skip a warm-up�Cold muscles = grumpy muscles. A few minutes of gentle movement helps lubricate your joints, reduce injury risk, and makes stretching actually work instead of just feeling uncomfortable.
3️⃣ I’d never just stretch my back and ignore my hips�So many back, knee and even neck issues start at the hips. If your hips are tight, your body steals movement from elsewhere… and that’s when pain shows up.
✨ Stretching isn’t about forcing flexibility.�
It’s about keeping your body mobile, confident and pain-free for the life you want to live.
