A massive THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on December 3rd for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and our first annual Cupcake Day — a celebration of inclusion, ability and community!

A huge shout-out to our amazing participants: Ellie, Fionn, Laura, David M., Anna, Eleanor, Andy, David W., Mary & Gabby. Your courage and skills shone so brightly on the day. We’re so proud of each of you! ✨

❄️ Winter Bakes Workshop – Week 1! ❄️

Today we kicked off our 3-week Winter Bakes Workshop at St. Mary’s Adult Education Centre — and what a fantastic start it was!

We were delighted to welcome back David, Anna, and Fionn, and to give a warm welcome to our new participant Gabby. 🤗

We began with introductions, sharing our interests, families, and career aspirations, followed by an important discussion on hand hygiene in bakery and restaurant settings.

With our big event coming up this Wednesday, we jumped straight into prep! Our participants baked lemon loaves, chocolate chip cookies, and practised their buttercream piping skills — and we already have some fast learners on our hands! 👩‍🍳✨
