In 2019, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I was prescribed medication and tried different approaches, but I didn’t experience the improvement I was hoping for. Deep down, I felt there had to be more to the story.
The idea of depending on medication long term was difficult for me to accept, so I began searching for deeper answers and a more holistic understanding of what was happening in my body.
That’s when I discovered applied kinesiology and it completely changed the way I relate to my health.
Through muscle testing, I started to explore what my body was communicating. Surprisingly, the focus wasn’t only on the thyroid itself. The testing indicated that my right shoulder needed attention and support. After a few sessions working on that area and supporting overall balance, I began to feel different. I felt lighter, more regulated, more connected.
Over time, my symptoms improved significantly under proper supervision, and I learned something very important:
the body is deeply interconnected. Sometimes the source of imbalance is not where the symptoms appear.
Today, I use applied kinesiology as a way of communicating with my body, listening instead of fighting it.
