Great to see Minister Helen McEntee TD visit our HQ to see how work was progressing following the devastating fire in December

Met with Shane & Trish of Meath Civil Defence & Des Foley today to discuss the progress being made after the fire at Christmas. The team have done unbelievable work to keep the show on the road & while there’s more to do to get the full facility up and running we are blessed to have such a committed team serving the people of Meath.

Day 2 of our winter Solstice duty at Newgrange on officially the shortest day of the year. Unfortunately the clouds didn't oblige. It didn't stop over 2,000 people coming out and participating in the celebrations and pageantry of the occasion. Thank you to all of our volunteers who were up very early to cover the event.

Our last training class of 2025 took place tonight in our HQ with a presentation by an Garda Siochàna Roads Policing unit on "The Life Saver Project" which is part of "The Just 1 Life programme". The presentation given by Sgt. Cormac Moylan was an eye opener behind driver habits and the current trend in road traffic collisions and fatalities. Our sincere thanks to Sgt. Moylan for taking the time to present to our volunteers tonight
