We know that managing type 1 diabetes can be a challenge and slightly overwhelming at times, but we’re here to help with our free online event, ‘Type 1 Reset - Ctrl Alt Del’.

There’s a lot to consider when managing type 1 diabetes, so if you’re feeling a little lost then why not sign up to our event. 'Type 1 Reset - Ctrl Alt Del’ will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 18 May 2022, 19:00 - 20:45 (drop ins welcome).

Six year old Niamh Finlay from Castlewellan recently received care at the Maynard Sinclair Ward at the Ulster Hospital, following her Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis.

As a show of appreciation for the care Niamh received, her family kindly donated four 'courage' bears, which are to be given to young patients diagnosed with diabetes as a way of bringing some comfort during a potentially frightening time 💛

We'd like to thank the Finlay family for this wonderfully kind and thoughtful gesture 🌈
