It’s World Hearing Day 👂🌍

Today is a reminder of how important our hearing really is.

As an audiologist working here in Donegal, I see every day how much hearing affects confidence, connection, and overall quality of life.

Hearing loss rarely happens overnight.
It’s usually gradual.
You turn the TV up a little more.
You ask people to repeat themselves.
Busy places become harder work.
And many people wait years before getting it checked.

A hearing check isn’t something to fear.
It’s simply checking in on your health — the same way you would with your eyes, your teeth, or your blood pressure.

If you’ve been wondering about your hearing, today is a good reminder.
