FREE FLU VACCINE

Walk in clinic Wednesday 24th September 2:15pm - 4pm and Wednesday 1st October 2:15-4pm.

Who can get a free flu vaccine?

You can get a free flu vaccine if you are:
-age 60 and older
-age 2 to 17
-a healthcare worker
-pregnant
-living in a nursing home or other long-term care facility
in regular contact with pigs, poultry or waterfowl
-someone with a health condition that puts you at higher risk of flu (age 6 months and older)
-living with someone who has a health condition that puts them at higher risk of flu
-a carer for someone who has a health condition that puts them at higher risk of flu

Wednesday 2nd October 2-4pm
Friday 4th October 12-12:30pm
The Flu vaccine is recommended for People who:
 Are 60 years of age and over
 Are pregnant
 18-59 years at increased risk of influenza-related
complications
 Healthcare workers
 Household contacts of people with underlying chronic health conditions or Down syndrome
 Out-of-home care givers for people who have an underlying chronic health condition or
have Down syndrome
 People in regular contact with pigs, poultry or waterfowl

Its that time of year again! Flu Season is here....

We will be running flu vaccine walk-in clinics on
Tuesday 24th September 2-4pm
Wednesday 25th September 2-4pm
Friday 27th September 12-12:30pm

The Flu vaccine is recommended for People who:
 Are 60 years of age and over
 Are a child aged 2 to 17 years
 Are pregnant
 All those aged 6-23 months and 18-59 years at increased risk of influenza-related
complications
Residents of nursing homes, old people’s homes, and other long stay facilities where rapid
spread is likely to follow introduction of infection
 Healthcare workers
 Household contacts of people with underlying chronic health conditions or Down syndrome
 Out-of-home care givers for people who have an underlying chronic health condition or
have Down syndrome
 People in regular contact with pigs, poultry or waterfowl
