Are you looking for support to overcome addiction?
SMART Recovery Ireland meetings will take place in the Castlebar Parish Centre weekly on Wednesdays at 7pm, starting on November 5th.
Smart Recovery supports individuals who have chosen to abstain or are considering abstinence from any type of addictive behaviours (substances or activities), by teaching how to change self-defeating thinking, emotions, and actions; and to work towards long-term quality of life.

I don't normally post person stuff on this page, but it is recovery related... we are currently sitting in Miami international airport waiting on our flight home to Ireland after a wonderful 2 weeks touring America. We are able to do this because my husband decided enough was enough where alcohol was concerned nearly 11 years ago. If he hadn't made that decision we wouldn't have the holidays that we do have. It didn't happen over night but it happens all the same. Recovery can lead you to places you only ever dreamed you would see...... I'm a very proud wife of a good man who is in recovery.. Paul Gallen
