✨ Thinking about a cosmetic tweak or treatment?

Before you book, remember to — the new campaign from the British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) helping you make safe, informed choices.
Ask these 4 key questions:

✔️ Who will treat me — are they medically qualified, registered, and insured?
✔️ What products or devices are being used — are they approved and traceable?
✔️ Is there proper governance — does the clinic follow professional standards and safety protocols?
✔️ What if something goes wrong — is there aftercare, emergency support, and insurance cover?

Your safety, your confidence, your results — always worth vetting first. 💉💪

✨ Our Cancellation Policy ✨
We understand that life can be unpredictable — that’s why we offer a generous window to reschedule your appointment anytime through our online portal. 💻
Please note that cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours of your appointment are not permitted, and deposits will be retained to cover clinic costs during the missed session.
We value everyone’s time equally — our team’s, our patients’, and yours. For this reason, we’re unable to make exceptions, regardless of the circumstances surrounding a late cancellation.
Patients who cancel or reschedule at the last minute more than twice will be booked at the clinic’s discretion and will be required to pay in full (non-refundable) at the time of booking.
Thank you for understanding and respecting our time, so we can continue to offer exceptional care to all our patients. 💙

✨ Treating “Tech Neck” with the Napage Technique ✨

Those horizontal neck lines — often called tech neck — are caused by a combination of skin laxity, collagen loss, sun damage, and our constant downward gaze. They’re notoriously difficult to treat non-surgically, and I always recommend a surgical face and neck lift as the gold-standard solution.

For patients who aren’t considering surgery, superficial HA skin boosters delivered with the napage technique can help replenish hydration, restore dermal HA stores, and stimulate new collagen, leading to subtle, natural improvements in skin texture and elasticity. 💉💧

For optimal outcomes, I often combine or alternate these treatments with chemical peels, energy-based devices, or microneedling to further enhance collagen stimulation and improve overall skin quality. 🌟

💡 Words Matter: “Patients” vs. “Clients” in Healthcare

In healthcare, language shapes how we see and treat the people we serve. Referring to someone as a patient isn’t just tradition, it reflects the trust, vulnerability, and care inherent in the medical relationship.

A patient comes to us in need of help, often in moments of uncertainty or fear. They trust us with their bodies, their health, and their personal stories. The term acknowledges this unique bond and the responsibility we hold to act in their best interest.

The word client implies a business transaction, a service purchased, a product delivered. But healthcare is not a retail exchange. It’s about compassion, ethics, and medical duty.

🩺 Why it matters:

Preserves the sacred trust between healthcare provider and patient

Reinforces the ethical responsibility of care

Recognizes the humanity behind every medical interaction

Let’s keep the word that honors the relationship at the heart of medicine: patient.

The annual is always one of the highlights of my autumn-winter diary. Great to catch up with industry leaders and old friends. Great learning as always from a wide range of topics from hair transplants, advancements in regenerative technologies to discussing the best deep plane neck lift techniques.

⚠️ Not All “Trending” Treatments Are Safe 👇
In aesthetics, new doesn’t always mean better.
Here’s why we don’t offer these popular treatments:
🚫 Lemon Bottle – Marketed as a “fat dissolver,” but not medically approved. Ingredients are unclear, and side effects like swelling, burns, and tissue damage are common.
🚫 Polynucleotides & Exosomes – Beautiful marketing, limited science. Many versions are unregulated, not FDA-approved, and lack consistent evidence of safety or efficacy. True biostimulation should come from proven, peer-reviewed methods.
🚫 Plasma Pen – Uses electrical energy to “tighten” skin but can cause burns, pigmentation, or scarring, especially around delicate areas like the eyes.
✨ We believe in evidence-based treatments that are safe, ethical, and genuinely effective — because your skin deserves more than hype. 💛

The classic three area treatment in a female patient with good skincare and no contraindications. The frontalis muscle elevates the brows, creating the classic horizontal forehead lines. The Glabellar complex pulls the medial brow downward and inward creating the “angry 11s”. The orbicularis occuli is a large fan shaped depressor that pulls the lateral brow downward and to create “crows feet” lines. Relaxation of the lower muscle complexes will elevate the brows by deactivting depressor muscle activity. Frontalis relaxation must be delicate and precise, under dosing gives an unsightly Spok eye brow, while over dosing results in a heavy tired looking eyebrow / every brows. Always seek aesthetic medical treatments from a prescriber lead clinic.

4 Tips for Using Retinol Safely and Effectively ✨
Retinol is a powerhouse ingredient for smoother, brighter skin — but using it correctly is key to getting results without irritation. Here’s how to make the most of it:
1️⃣ Try the Sandwich Technique: Apply a light layer of moisturiser, then your retinol, and finish with another thin layer of moisturiser. This helps buffer the skin and reduce dryness or peeling.
2️⃣ Apply 1 Hour Before Bed: Give your retinol time to fully absorb before your head hits the pillow to maximise its benefits.
3️⃣ Know the Difference: Prescription tretinoin is designed for specific medical conditions like acne. It’s not generally suitable for anti-ageing in most cases — over-the-counter retinol is the gentler, more appropriate choice.
4️⃣ Start Slow: If your skin feels too sensitive, reduce how often you use retinol. Gradually build up frequency as your skin becomes more tolerant.
Your skin deserves patience and care — a consistent, gentle approach always wins. 💛

✨ Beyond the basics, botulinum toxin can also treat some overlooked areas that make a big difference in your expression:

💠 Nasalis (“Bunny Lines”) – those fine wrinkles that appear when you scrunch your nose.
💠 Levator Complex (Gummy Smile) – softens the lift of the upper lip so less gum shows when you smile.
💠 Depressor Anguli Oris (Marionette Lines) – relaxes the downward pull at the corners of the mouth, lifting your resting expression.
💠 Mentalis (Chin Retraction + Dimpling) – smooths out chin puckering and helps with that “orange peel” texture.

Subtle tweaks, natural results ✨
