Do you choose plant-based "milk" alternatives because you think they are healthy or trendy or do you actually enjoy them? 🥛🤔💭
This post is not to say that there is a right and wrong type of milk to choose or that one is nutritionally superior to the other. They all have different benefits and can be part of a balance diet for many different people. But if you choose a plant-based milk over regular cow's milk, be sure to choose it for the right reasons ✅

It should be noted that organic plant-based "milks" are not fortified so it's important to consider where else in your diet you are getting nutrients such as calcium and vitamin B12 from 🥦🥚🍽

Balancing work , college and life is one thing but throw being an inter-county camogie player into the mix and it gets a whole lot trickier. Many young female athletes can get sucked into the "low calorie" mindset that is everywhere these days. It is so important to remember to fuel for the work required 💪 🍎 As Aoife mentioned above you need to fuel your body to perform the way you want it to. You wouldn't try to drive your car without any fuel, right? So why would you expect your body to play a 60 minute high intensity match with minimal food 🤷‍♀️

Aoife has learned how to maximise her food to allow her to play to the best of her ability. She has also learned how to stay on top of her nutrition whilst juggling college, training and matches. Aoife was a dream to work with, always giving 100% just like she does on the field 💯
