Influenza vaccines are available now. The Health Protection Surveillance Center has confirmed an earlier start to the influenza season in Ireland this winter. Influenza activity is currently increasing in our community. Dr Regan advises influenza vaccination as soon as possible for all patients over the age of 60, all patients with chronic medical conditions, pregnant women, healthcare workers and children from age 2-17 years. Do not delay vaccination if you are at high risk as it takes about 2 weeks for effective immunity to develop.

Dr. Regan is scheduling an additional clinic in the medical centre this evening 28/12/22 at 5 pm . Please phone 065 9056400 for details , including the number to phone if you require an in person consultation with Dr.Regan. This additional clinic is not a walk-in clinic. Consultations are by appointment only.

Covid 19 Vaccination Programme

The practice team in Kilkee Medical Centre will be administering the second booster vaccination for people aged 65 years and older and immunocompromised people aged 12 years and older this Wednesday July 13th.

If you are in either of the above categories and would like to receive this booster dose, and if it is at least 4 months since your last booster dose or covid-19 infection, please contact the surgery at 065-9056400 to book an appointment for vaccination.
