If you’ve been thinking about the Lámh training, now is a great time to decide. It’s happening this Friday, 10th of April 2026, and there are still places available.

This course offers a practical and supportive introduction to Lámh for second and third level students, with plenty of opportunities to learn, practise and build confidence.

Students will:
• learn over 100 Lámh signs
• develop communication and inclusion skills
• build confidence in supporting others

The training takes place in person in Wexford and is designed to be interactive, accessible and enjoyable for all participants.

Each participant will receive:
• the official Lámh handbook and sign book
• access to Lámh signs online
• a Lámh Module One certificate on completion

I’m really pleased to share that this summer I will be facilitating an EPV approved course for primary school teachers:

Creating Communication Access: Practical AAC & Modelling Strategies for Inclusive Classrooms

This course is designed to support teachers to feel more confident in:

• understanding communication differences
• using practical AAC strategies in everyday classroom routines
• reducing barriers to participation and communication
• creating truly inclusive classroom environments

The focus is on real, practical strategies that can be used straight away in school settings.

I’m delighted to offer a Certified Lámh Module One training for second and third level students. This in-person course in Wexford will introduce you to the foundations of Lámh and give you the opportunity to learn and practise over 100 Lámh signs in a supportive and interactive environment.

During the course we will explore:
• The total communication approach
• Assessment and planning for communication support
• How to create a Lámh signing environment
• Practising over 100 key Lámh signs

Weekly therapy isn’t always the answer.

For children with high support needs, good therapy is not just what happens in the session. It is coaching, practical strategies, and supports that fit into real life routines. It is about helping the adults around the child feel confident, so communication opportunities happen all day long, not only in therapy time.
