This is something I hear in my room when we have our chat before the session.

How many times have you said it?

Life is busy. Waiting for life to slow down is something we think in our head will happen tomorrow once the list of today is done. But that’s not the case today’s list adds on to tomorrow’s.

When we don’t take time for ourselves, it shows up in little ways, like being snappy, feeling disconnected, not sleeping, always feeling like you’re catching up on yourself.

Having time for yourself isn’t about indulgence, it’s about giving your nervous system a chance to rest so you can show up for yourself firstly & then your family friends and so on.

Reiki is one way I see women finally take time. And it works!!
No talking.
No distractions.
No hurry.
No body looking for you!

Just a quiet space where the body can settle and rebalance.

Hands up 🙌 who has felt drained of every drop of energy & a little resentful? 🙋🏻me I have.
So here’s why it can happen and how…
Your nervous system goes into overdrive when you’re doing to much, your body slips into fight or flight without you being aware, often we stretch ourselves, letting our boundaries drop which can lead to resentment or hidden tension, your energy for both of these feelings is very low & your exhausted.

When you’re feeling like this & it might happen a lot with Christmas coming, here’s a tool to help calm the nervous system 😴

Place two fingers between your brow ( third eye) lightly press, very gently for 30-60 seconds.
This spot is connected to your vagus nerve so it helps to calm down the mental chaos and remember to take in the breath & let it go, nice gentle breathing. It’s works really well, something I do when I’m feeling overwhelmed and need a quick reset. Do it whenever you feeling the need.

Reiki is also a wonderful too to help replenish the energy within, helping you feel lighter & helps you shift back into rest and digest. If you like to know more drop me a dm 💚

Your nervous system, this is where most cravings start, your brain is looking for comfort 🧠
Tapping helps with the real reason behind them.

When you feel stressed, overwhelmed, tired and we’re all guilty of this because we’re human!!, our body is looking for a quick response and food is a fast relief. Then we have the wave of guilt that comes with that!

By tapping we calm the body before the urge comes, you lower the stress response.
When your nervous system feels safe you don’t need the quick fix to create calm your body can do it naturally.

✨ Tapping (EFT) is when you tap on specific acupressure points on the body, this gentle tapping on the upper body sends a calming signal directly to the brain, to the amygdala, this is the part that is responsible for stress & fight, flight, freeze & emotional memories. When you tap you’re sending a calming signal to tell the amygdala “It’s safe now”

While you tap on these points you’re acknowledging how you feel, this can be with positive or negative statements, this helps the brain process emotions.
The tapping & statement or affirmation does something that is very special..

• It lowers the fight or flight freeze response - stress
• It rewires the thinking - by tapping about a feeling the brain learns to respond calmer.
• It releases tension stored in the body - Tapping softens the body, it creates space.
• It helps clear the mind & reset - Clearer thinking, feel more grounded, breathe better.
• It works quickly - Because it works directly with the nervous system.

✨Sound Bath Sessions New Dates Announced!

Take a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself through the healing power of sound. You can chose the time that suits morning or evening.

Whether you’re completely new to sound baths or a regular visitor, these sessions are open to everyone. Each experience is designed to help you:
🌙 Release tension and stress
💗 Rebalance your energy
🌀 Deepen your sense of calm and clarity
🌿 Come back to yourself

I like to hold space with intention and care keeping each group small so that every person receives my full presence and attention.

✨ Booking is essential spaces are limited so I can give my all to everyone who joins. €20 morning session €25 evening session.

Meet Marie, a beautiful soul with a wicked laugh 🤭 When Marie first came to me, she was feeling completely drained, fed up, lost, struggling to sleep, and trying to hold it all together while working full-time as a teacher.

She new herself what was happening “the change” as she called it was starting to take shape within her life on all levels, she had been to her doctor and spoke about all the options and what course of treatment would suit. But Marie was looking for that bit of extra help and decided to try Reiki.

We began with gentle Reiki sessions to help her body and mind release tension and restore balance. Over time, we added sound healing and mindfulness practices, creating moments where she could truly pause, breathe, and reconnect with herself. And that she could take home and use during the school day and at home out on her walk, easy stuff that actually works.

The change has been beautiful, her sleep has improved, her energy feels lighter, and she’s finding more clarity and calm in her everyday life. Marie has taking “the change” day by day and is so mindful now of herself like never before, she never truly knew how amazing and brave she was! Lots to keep working on but she’s embracing the changes.

Reiki and sound healing can be such powerful tools for emotional and energetic reset especially when life feels overwhelming and your facing a path that you have never traveled before, so taking your time finding what works is what doing “your best” for you looks like.

If you’ve been feeling tired, anxious, or simply in need of a moment to breathe again, this might be your sign to begin your own healing journey.
