- We have not yet found a suitable home for the farm and need any help in searching and further organizing, preparation and treatments here.🙏🏾

😳Why ‘special’ shoeing or trimming methods WILL NOT EVER cure LAMINITIS!

Because laminitis is NOT primarily a foot problem.

But if your horse is footsore understand that laminitis is very likely to be the cause.

Low grade chronic inflammatory symptoms cause the horse’s feet to feel sore, be uncomfortable, feel stones and uneven ground far more than if the hoof was healthy and strong.

If horses can’t stand on their own four feet comfortably, then shoes WILL NOT take the problem away.

Because these problems DO NOT start in the foot....they start way before your horse becomes footsore.

No matter what anyone tells you, including many professionals, you CANNOT cure or STOP laminitis by attaching special shoes to the hooves - rockers, wedges, heart bars, egg bars, reverse shoes, rubber shoes, glue on shoes and more...or perform deep resections taking away large parts of the hoof wall. 😱

NONE of the above will stop your horse from continuing down the slippery slope of chronic symptoms which so very often eventually become acute.

And shoeing just continues to mask these symptoms....sadly often until it’s too late.

So many owners think that when their horse gets an acute crippling attack of laminitis that it’s the first time this has happened.

But think again...
