Following LUCA 2025, we would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Oren Milstein, CEO and co-founder of StemRad , and to the entire StemRad team, for being part of LUCA 2025 and of our growing community.
In his talk, “From Earth to Space and Back: 360 Gamma, AstroRad, and the Future of Radiation Protection,” Oren offered a powerful reminder that challenges on Earth and in space are often deeply interconnected - and that when solutions move between these environments, meaningful innovation happens.
His work demonstrates how technologies developed to address critical needs on Earth can evolve to protect astronauts in deep space, and then return with even broader impact on healthcare and human resilience worldwide.
This perspective lies at the heart of aerospace medicine.
